This handmade Soy Wax Candle is made in Kent using environmentally friendly Soy Wax and a generous amount of genuine American fragrance oils that give a fuller scent and fill a room with a warm and comforting fragrance. The Soya Beans used to produce the wax are from a renewable source and are clean burning. Soy Wax releases little or no carbons into your home and the atmosphere, unlike most paraffin wax candles.
Like a fine bottle of wine and designer clothing, your high quality handmade Soy Wax candle will benefit from a bit of love and care. As candles have a melt memory, upon lighting for the first time we recommend you let it burn for 2-3 hours initially to ensure a full melt pool, which your candle will continue to burn to as long as it’s given the time for the wax to melt, thus prolonging the life of your candle. Your wick may need to be trimmed occasionally to allow for a clean burn, a good indication of whether you need to trim the wick is if the tip of the flame is releasing darker smoke. If this is the case then trim the wick to 1cm or just under ½ inch.
