Old things are the best, 09 Feb 2010I am new to carbolic soap but now i use it every where, carpets curtains, bathroom its brilliant on collers and cuffs of your shirts, even removes stickers and chewing gum residue, my front doorstep has got its luster back, great on the bathroom floor, and when you have to wash the top of the kitchen cupbards ( you know where the extractor fan is ) it eats through the grease like it was not even there , and no chocking fumes like the modern day cleaners

I use it for all kinds of things, but it earns it's keep by being the only thing that can get rid of tomato stains!
Dampen the item, rub in a good bit of the soap and then rinse, & wsh as normal. Works faster on "fresher" stains, but will fade older ones if you persist.
Worth having in, multi use and no plasic bottles to store/recycle!

, 15 Aug 2008I love this soap it reminds me of visits to my grandparents. I use it in place of all these different household products for so many different jobs. I find it brilliant on my stainless steel sink, it comes up really shiny & seems to act as a barrier as the water just rolls off. Why buy loads of products when 1 bar of soap can do the lot.
